A New Album and 3 New Productions for the 25th Anniversary of Les Talens Lyriques, Christophe Rousset
To celebrate their 25th anniversary, Les Talens Lyriques and director Christophe Rousset announce a brand new album as well as 3 new productions for Spring 2017.
The period music ensemble, known for its impressively precise and historically informed performances of Baroque and Classical repertoire, releases its newest album Armide on 24th March 2017, the latest in their “Lully Collection” for French label Aparté.
Under the direction of Christophe Rousset, Les Talens Lyriques will also perform new productions of The Fairy Queen in Vienna, Die Zauberflöte in Dijon, and Calisto in Strasbourg . The ensemble will also serve as ambassadors for their home country, performing a special program Bach et La France at Wigmore Hall in the United Kingdom and at the Klaipeda Music Spring Festival in Lithuania.
