Camille Thomas Signs Exclusive Recording Contract With Deutsche Grammophon
Camille Thomas, the 28-year-old Franco-Belgian musician, becomes the first cellist to join Deutsche Grammophon. Her debut album for the label, Enchantée, set for release in Autumn 2017, will bring together the works of Saint-Saëns and Offenbach for cello and orchestra. Recorded with the Orchestre National de Lille and Alexandre Bloch, Enchantée will also feature recordings with violinist Nemanja Radulovic and tenor Rolando Villazón.
Camille Thomas is currently on tour with the Orchestre de Picardie, performing the programme Tchaikovsky Variations on a Rococo theme under the direction of Arie van Beek.
