Ensemble Court-Circuit at Cheltenham Music Festival on 14th July
French ensemble Court-Circuit will perform at the Cheltenham Music Festival in Cheltenham, England on 14th July 14th at 22:00.
This concert is the culmination of a year-long project bringing together new music experts Court-Circuit and students from the Birmingham and Lyon conservatoires. For the event, Court-Circuit will perform works by some of the most inventive British and French contemporary composers alongside students from both conservatories, in a programme celebrating micro-tonality and the physicality of sound. The evening’s programme includes:
Jonathan Harvey (1939-2012): Song offerings
George Benjamin (1960): At ﬁrst light
Adrien Trybucki (1993): Magma
Christophe Bertrand (1981-2010): Madrigal
Patrick Giguère (1987): Le sel de la terre
The concert will also be the premiere for 4 student pieces written for ensemble and electronics.
