Frédéric Vaysse-Knitter Recital at the Tudeley Festival of Chamber Music on 2nd July
Frédéric Vaysse-Knitter’s varied repertoire and pianistic style were shaped by the grand tradition of the French, Polish and German piano schools. He has performed in many prestigious venues around the world, including the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, the Amsterdam Concertgebouw and the Herkulssaal in Munich. Fascinated by Karol Szymanowski’s music, he has recorded two discs dedicated to the composer: Frédéric Vaysse-Knitter plays Szymanowski (Intégral Classic), a rendition of Szymanowski’s complete piano works, and Szymanowski-Stravinsky (Aparté) with violinist Solenne Païdassi, which received critical acclaim: “CHOC” from Classica, “MAESTRO” from Pianiste Magazine, a 5 from Diapason, 10/10 from Klassik-Heute and the “Key of the month” from Resmusica.
