Guillaume Connesson Unveils his 2017-2018 Symphonic Season
The symphonic works of French composer Guillaume Connesson will be performed by 12 orchestras in 9 different countries during the 2017-2018 season.
9-17 June 2017, the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing Connesson’s work Flammenschrift while on tour in Japan. In total, 60 performances of his works will take place in Belgium, Ireland, the United States, the United Kingdom, Austria, the Netherlands and Germany. See a preview of the upcoming season below.
In residence from 2016-2018 with the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra as well as with the Orchestre National de Lyon, Guillaume Connesson is also currently devoting himself to the composition of an opera, Les Bains macabres, commissioned by the Opéra National de Bordeaux.
