Harpsichordist Frédérick Haas Releases Second “Well-Tempered Clavier” this Fall
Playing the harpsichord since the age of 12, Frédérick Haas studied the harpsichord, organ and musicology in Paris and Amsterdam before recording his first solo album, dedicated to the harpsichord suites by J.H. Anglebert, at the age of 26.
With an acclaimed discography including recordings of the complete works for harpsichord by J. Ph. Rameau, works by J.S. Bach (English Suites, Goldberg Variations), F. Couperin, and D. Scarlatti, the French harpsichordist performs as a soloist worldwide on the harpsichord and fortepiano in addition to directing Ausonia, the ensemble which he co-founded with violinist, Mira Glodeanu.
