Trio Karénine Give Espresso-Concert in Berlin 13 September
After a summer touring in France and in Germany, the Trio Karénine will start the Season 2017/2018 with an “Espresso-concert” at Konzerthaus Berlin on Wednesday 13th September at 14:00. The 45-minute lunchtime concert will be dedicated to the French repertoire of Fauré’s Piano Trio op.120 and Ravel’s Piano Trio.
Winner of the ARD Munich Competition 2013 and the “NORDMETALL-Ensemble Preis” at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festspiele 2015, the Paris-based ensemble Trio Karénine is a dynamic and engaged Chamber Music ensemble.
Since forming in 2011, the dynamic chamber music ensemble Trio Karénine has already been invited to major international venues, performing in Paris at the Auditorium du Louvre and the Maison de la Radio, at the Salle Bourgie in Montréal, the Herkulessaal and the Prinzregententheater in Munich, the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg, the Palazzetto Bru-Zane in Venice, and at festivals including Radio France Montpellier, Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, Rencontres Musicales d’Evian, Festival “Croisements” Tour in China, “La Folle Journée” in Japan, in Poland, and many more.
The trio’s first CD Schumann Piano Trio 1&2 (Mirare/Harmonia Mundi, 2016) was warmly received by the international press and their next recording, dedicated to the French Repertoire will be released Spring 2018, also for Mirare/Harmonia Mundi.
